RantWoman has been falling down on the job. RantWoman meant to post the link to the Seattle Office of Emergency Management April Preparedness Challenge weeks ago, well, as soon as it was live on the web. Tragically RantWoman has been too busy coping with taxes and the need to Braille key bits of data on several pieces of plastic subject to cyclical renewal and has been neglecting her Disaster Preparedness persona.
But there is still time in April, conveniently national preparedness month. Click on the link below. Take the three steps outlined. Teach three other people to do the same thing. Then come back and register for prizes. RantWoman hopes the project is so fabulously successful that there is danger of running out of the prizes. However, RantWoman was crabby not to be able to find this off the city's usual Office of Emergency Management website and she wonders whether others have similar problems.

Do the steps even if you don't live in Seattle because for instance if you want RantWoman's help with your communications plan, you better get in contact before disaster strikes.
Here is the link to the main Seattle OEM site with links to several topical items
