RantWoman is crossing a major decade horizon this year. Not until July, but still, in an effort to help RantWoman adjust, RantWoman proposes from time to time to post reflections specific on life at this f rontier.
What better way to start than, ta-da, an occasion involving one of the most famous non-alumni of RantWoman's alma mater: the 50th anniversary of the inauguration of John F. Kennedy. RantWoman knows perfectly well there is much to say of global weight and import. RantWoman instead is going to comment upon the practice, historically if not presently, in alumni publications of listing the class year, the year the person would have graduated from Princeton for anyone who ever matriculated.
John F. Kennedy '39 was enrolled in Princeton for less than a semester before he got sick and went to Harvard. Wait, there is probably a better way to say that....
Stay tuned.
