Subject: MLB: Accessibility of Mobile App Press Release now public
Dear MLB clients: The MLB press release is out and can be shared with your lists and posted. The release is posted on my website at:
http://lflegal.com/2012/06/mlb-app
In addition to its ongoing commitment to website accessibility, this is the first time a major sports and entertainment content provider has committed
to ensuring that its application for the iPhone and iPad is accessible to blind consumers. MLB's initiative is the result of Structured Negotiations with ACB, BSCB and CCB.
MLB has the following dedicated accessibility email and phone for comments about accessibility: access@website.mlb.com and866.239.1284

RantWoman is posting this for all the baseball fans in her life.
Anyone who does NOT need further RantWoman tirate is invited to STOP here.
Everyone else: RantWoman first instinct, whenever the subject of professional sports comes up, is to froth at the mouth and howl and yowl about taxpayer-funded playgrounds for zillionaires. RantWoman manages to suppress this urge a lot of the time because some people she is relaly fond of REALLY like their baseball. RantWoman also wants to give Major League Baseball credit for their effort.
And Rantwoman thinks it SHOULD NOT take a whole flock of lawyers and negotiations from multiple national organizations to make something as big and mass market as major league baseball get their act together about accessibility!
But who asked RantWoman?
