Disabilities Awareness: Pink Glove Dance Video

RantWoman enthusiastically celebrates cancer survivoris, whether or not they survivied the trend cancer of the month!

Somewhere in the video below, probably among all the people wearing black massing in the entryway or on the parking lot, judging by RantMom's account, RantMom herself can be found. Darned if RantWoman has any expectation of being able to find RantMom. Trust me: she's there.

Seattle Cancer Care Alliance 2012 Pink Glove Dance Video

RantWoman is aware that there are other competitors for the Pink Glove Dance Competition / RantWoman MAY go look at the competition. Or she may just shamelessly stuff the ballot box on behalf of RantMom.

For the record,

1. RantMom has survived two cancers, neither in her breasts. RantMom is alive and kicking and available to volunteer at the Seattle Cancer Care Alliance because of great treatment at Billings Clinic -- Billings Deaconess Hospital
and at the Northern Rockies Radiation oncology Center. RantWoman MAY try to check to see whether they did a video, but...

2. RantWoman just had a mammogram. Fun. Funf Fun--that it's over! Little Sister has an appointment tomorrow. RantMom had one recently. How about YOU?

3. Among RantMom's cancer survivor experience count:
--post chemo hair that is a different color and texture than pre chemo hair

--really frustrating neuropathy in her hands and feet

--12 inches of missing colon and um, er, certain effects, um, er, that RantMom, um,et, would much prefer never to talk about, not even in her own abode.

RantWoman recommends readers ask the concer survivors they know about hidden lingering effects and how disabling the problems are.
