RantWoman is deeply amused by tidings of a whole new reason for blindness tourism: apparently a small number of ultra-orthodox men in Israel have taken to wearing eyeglasses with cloudy stickers to prevent themselves from accidentally looking at "immodest" women.

RantWoman thinks this is an interesting approach to men taking responsibility for their urges. RantWoman finds herself wondering whether these men might achieve a gesture of equivalent impact without also walking into poles. Or maybe the walking into poles is part of the spiritual discipline?
