FREE webinar January 10: Job results from survey

RantWoman has a schedule conflict about attending the webinar below but notes both the particular topic and what looks like a powerful resource as far as webinars and many other disability-related topics.

RespectAbility Invites you to a free webinar on Friday, January 10th at 1:30
PM EST, (10:30 AM California Time)

Poll of Nearly 3800 People in Disability Community on Employment for People with Disabilities

This is much more extensive than what was released earlier! Largest poll ever of its kind - covers jobs, obstacles, experiences, goals, sheltered workshops, 503 and more! Half of the respondents are people with disabilities, half are family/providers etc. in the community.

Jennifer Laszlo Mizrahi, President of RespectAbilityUSA and pollster Meagan Buren will release the complete data set via webinar and we will take your questions!

Sign up here to be sure you get the materials in advance.

Log in a little early at http://easi.cc/entrance.htm and follow the instructions. We will do Q&A by typing, so be by a computer for the webinar.

Small RantWoman interface grumble. RantWoman is very impressed with the efforts the EASI site makes to be accessible...

...but....

this is increasingly the age of the mobile device. RantWoman would really like to listen in via mobile phone for the part of the webinar where she needs to be in transit to an appointment. Don't worry: RantWoman gets to leave the driving to someone else regardless. However, RantWoman does not see any options for calling in. As long as RantWoman wants to call in and wants to push the envelope about accessibility provisions, it would be stupendous not only to be able to call in but also to respond when questions are asked. But who said anything about RantWoman being reasonable?

Anyway, RantWoman recommends the webinar and ifyou have a chance to tune in and want to post comments, RantWoman would be very interested to hear about it.
