Accessible Voting Centers for April 22 election?

Dear King County,

Recently, RantWoman was speaking to some voters who mostly, RantWoman assumes, enthusiastically want to vote FOR King County Measure 1, on the Ballot April 22. Those to whom RantWoman was speaking inquired as to the location of Accessible Voting Centers, places where people who cannot mark their own mail-in ballot independently can go to vote on a machine that offers MANY options to assist people with different disabilities to cast their ballots in privacy without assistance.

RantWoman has looked on the Voting and Elections link at kingcounty.gov and found
this info about accessible voting.

There is nothing useful about the of accessible voting locations
for the April 22 elections. Look, RantWoman realizes that planning ahead several weeks sounds odd. Cope.

Cope, please. RantWoman notes that accessible voting machines were purchased all over the country after enactment of the Help America Vote Act. RantWoman rememberst that these machines were widely criticized by knowledgable professionals on data security / reliability grounds. RantWoman also recalls reading of what sounds to her like, basically, fees to promote particular brands being paid to one national blind consumers organization.

RantWoman also remembers many, many blind people exclaiming at gatherings of blind people about the hitherto unimaginable joy of being able to cast ballots independently without a whole crowd of observers with them in voting booths. Just because many people are thrilled to vote from the comfort and privacy of their own living rooms, or in the case of RantWoman and RantMom the Sunday night supper at RantMom's, this does NOT mean there is no longer any need for accessible voting centers. Word!
