RantWoman apologizes, not for needing a morning rant but for not having time to look up some hash tags and get the points here into wider conversation but here goes:
Why is the Secret Service director, a woman, the only person out of a job?
Why have we not heard that a contractor who gave a felon a gun and assigned him guard duty has not instantly and summarily been dismissed and barrered for, say, 10 years, from any further business in their field? Sure, maybe the head of the Secret Service should be in a position to demand this, but surely compliance with laws universally banning felons from access to weapons should be basics of terms of any contract the organization signed! Surely?
Why have we not heard about summary firings of whoever was supposed to be on guard duty the night the guy with the knife jumped the White House fence and made it nearly to the Presidential quarters?
RantWoman will now resume her regular duties and express ardent hope that people who get paid to think about things like this, including self-righteous Congresspeople, will do their jobs!
