WTBBL Experience Art Competition 2014

Announcing WTBBL "Experience Art 2014" Competition, Exhibition, and Reception

WTBBL invites all youth patrons to create a work of art for entry into the WTBBL Art Competition and Exhibition!

You can submit art of any style and size, but the original piece needs to be submitted to WTBBL by Friday, October 31st. Download an entry form at

Entries accepted in the following divisions:

Ages 5-10;
Ages 11-15;
Ages
16-18

Judges will choose a winner from each division that will be announced at the "Experience Art 2014" Reception on Saturday, November 22nd at the Washington
Talking Book and Braille Library @ 12pm.

All entries will be showcased in a special gallery at the library, and all participants will receive a recognition prize.

We're also launching a Pen Pal program from Oct 1-Jan 1.

Make a new friend by participating in this special program! All students in
grades 1 through grade 12 are invited to participate. This is a great way
for students to practice reading and writing in braille or large-print.
