RantWoman REALLY digs a linguistic item called Decoded on MTV.
First RantWoman received tutelage about African American Vernacular English, formerly called Ebonics.
Then, just because RantWoman was recently twitching about pronunciation of ax when RantWOman has invested a whole lot of time and effort in absorbing that the word is supposed to be ask! Guess what. Ax is actually the older, longer-standing pronunciation. Take that parents! Take that English teachers!
