RantWoman wants in her own odd peculiar RantWoman way to do everythign she can to build buzz for the new movie.
RantWoman is not sure the rant below left over in RantWoman's Drafts from a visit to an exhibit at Seattle's Experience Music Project about the work of Muppet creative father Jim Henson qualifies as positive buzz. RantWoman's main point: WE LOVE OUR MUPPETS so please promote them well and, pretty please, can all the different grownups and owners of fragments of intellectual property rights play nicely and try to get along!

First, to all who may be worrying about RantWoman, ask the question "Does RantWoman think she has something to rant about?" If the answer is no or there is no response, take RantWoman's temperature and make sure she is breathing. How else are we to deal with RantWoman's experience at the closing day of the EMP's Jim Henson exhibit?

RantWoman is, as she has written previously a huge sentimental Muppets fan. RantWoman as a sometime writer of a high-school research paper about the Muppets recognizes that Jim Henson had an interesting and colorful creative career before he teamed up with Frank Oz during the apogee of the Muppets' world acclaim and again on his own as creator of Fraggle Rock. RantWoman acknowledges that the ins and outs of an artist's evolution are certainly of museological interest even if the snapshots presented are so stunningly devoid of key moment's in the artist's creative arc as to suggest either Kremlinology or some ferocious intellectual property / heirs' rights dispute too far past "grownups behaving badly" even to mention in the presence of the impressionable babes come to exclaim over Jim Henson as presented at the EMP.
In the door, up the stairs, the gift shop and some flashy media chamber. Directed "that way" which took us to Science Fiction, not what RW and buddy were into today. After a few moments of being insufficiently deferential in the presence of science fiction greats or at least science fiction detritus, we got back onto the track "downstairs."
Among the attractions:
story boards which RantWoman could almost pull out of her visual fog and blur
Rowf the dog
a muppet band
playing drums for a premix version of It's not easy being green" almost, cross fingers, almost an easier thrill than, say, a whole year of fifth grade band.
Visitors to the Jim Henson exhibit may note some strategically placed swathes of what RantWoman has designated Muppet plush in orange or bright pink but no Miss Piggy and no Fozzy Bear either. RantWoman smells an intellectual spasm and probably some grownups not playing nicely with each other.
