Hopelink recently received FTA funding through the Puget Sound Regional Council to launch a group excursions and travel training program for low-income individuals, veterans and people with limited English proficiency in King County. The goal of this program, Ride Around the Sound, is to provide participants with educational, community-building opportunities to gain confidence and independence in riding transit.
Sheila Sloan-Evans, Hopelink Program Manager, is in the process of developing this new program. To ensure we are best serving the needs and interests of participants, we invite you to help shape the excursions offered through this program.
You can help by completing a short survey online: https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/Ride_Around_The_Sound_Excursion_Survey
Please forward this survey to others, as we are seeking wide input on this program.
Warm regards,
Michelle
