RantWoman still has an arm in a cast. The flow of opinions seething forth from the RantWoman brain is the same as ever. RantWoman just cannot type enough to keep up.
Instead RantWoman is fussing with...research.
RantMom is afan of the church bazaar. A couple years recently RantMom has given the Rant Sisters wonderful pot scrubbers crocheted out of nylon netting. RantWoman's pot scrubbies are both dreadfully worn out and the holiday bazaar season is still a ways off. Upon inspecting the scrubbies RantWoman has been seized with the idea that she, crochet novice that she is MIGHT still be able to do this. RantWoman has sent out via Youtube to test this idea.
A nice video about strip widtch. This example produces a double layer scrubber stuffed with an additional strip of netting. RantWoman has single-layer scrubbies and thinks the deluxe model here MIGHT be too much, but RantWomam is charmed by the video anyway!
This one uses wider, 3-4 inch strips, a bigger hook, M, and makes a single layer scrubbie. The stitch count is not as precise as the other one, but RantWoman supposes she can figure it out. Also, Use coarse netting because the fine stuff won't scrub!
Now, will RantWoman take up whole new ways to keep her hands out of trouble inpublic?
Stay tuned!
