Good afternoon!

Did you know that Bender Consulting Services provides leadership and anti-bullying resources to high school and college students with disabilities through the Bender Lead On Team?

The Bender Lead On Team is named for the civil rights leader Justin Dart, Jr. who was instrumental in bringing the community of people with disabilities together to advocate for the signing of the ADA. The Bender Lead On Team was formed in response to the epidemic of bullying of youth with disabilities.

Each year the Bender Lead On Team presents an award to a young person with a disability who has demonstrated leadership in the disability community with a focus on anti-bullying. This year’s winner is Staci Forrest.

Please view the Bender Lead On Team to congratulate Staci or refer young people interested in learning about disability leadership or anti-bullying.
