Prevention is half the cure--even in a language you don't understand

RantWoman stumbled onto today's featured  #npm2013 #natlprep #disater #preparedness video by accident.

RantWoman THINKS it is from Tadjikistan, also a zone where LOTS of earthquakes have occurred. RantWoman thinks this is from Tadjikistan because the signs are in Cyrillic, because of a few words she has been able to parse, and because the other main candidate for RantWoman guesswork, Uzbekistan, now again, RantWoman believes without double-checking, uses the Latin alphabet.

RantWoman begs pardon for the digression above. RantWoman quite likes this video for all of the following reasons:

--Clear subtitles in English.

--Really good visuals of household securement of many different household items --Clear "preparedness makes a difference" messaging including "Prepare, don't just leave things up to God / fate....

--Nice messages about people looking out for each other, for loved ones and members of the community.

RantWoman posts this here in solidarity with all the people who find themselves needing to prepare and figure things out in places where they do not know the language and cannot take for granted the things other people can take for granted.
