RantWoman went looking for more #npm2013 #natlprep material and came across this wonderful item about #earthquake #preparedness for college students.

RantWoman enjoys the writing style. RantWoman enjoys the tips. RantWoman recommends readers just give themselves permission to follow linsk and digress.
RantWoman adds one funky note: earthquake country turns up all kinds of places. RantWoman has a vague memory that there is some kind of fault along the eastern seaboard of the US. The phrase "not very active but deadly if .." sticks in RantWoman's mind.
When RantWoman was ensconced in graduate school in the middle of Indiana, RantWoman naively assumed that Indiana is not California and therefore what is there to worry about? Besides the prospect of tornadoes seemed way scarier. Then a small quake hit the New Madrid Fault! Talk about shaken out of complacency!
So RantWoman recommends reading adn then checking out what the situation REALLY is in your area!
