Day Of Remembrance EO 9066

In February 19, 1942, President Roosevelt signed Executive Order 9066 authorizing internment of people of Japanese ancestry

How many of us know children and grandchildren of the internment?

And what do we know of their stories?

RantWoman specifically has in mind, besides people she knows of in Seattle, people she went to high school with whose families were presumably interned at Heart Mountain in WY. RantWoman remembers that the internment was barely spoken of, by either students or say teachers,  in high school in MT in the late 1970's.

Bless you Facebook. RantWoman did a cursory search for one last name RantWoman specifically remembers and Facebook suggested another probably more common one. Bless you Facebook.
