RantWoman awoke to tidings of an ice storm warning and possible power outages. Bye bye Friendly Neighborhood Center for Extreme computing if that happens, but...
Multiple cycles of click click click rattle of falling whatever it is.
RantWoman is extremely happy NOT to have to go anywhere except across her nice covered breezeway. Yesterday RantWoman needed to go back and forth across her breezeway a large number of times per day just to keep her walking legs limber, but RantWoman is SO happy to have a breezeway so she can drink in cold air and do as much pretending as she wants that it's Montana.
Scratch that. RantWoman heard evidence of sidewalks being shoveled this morning. RantWoman decided she needed to take out her compost. The sidewalk to the bus stop got shoveled. The sidewalk to the recycle and compost bins did not. Sigh. MUCH slipping and sliding but RantWoman emptied her yogurt containers!
Don't mess with Grandma! RantMom is headed out to Little Sister's. If anyone had asked rantWoman, the word would have been "Stay Home!" RantMom does not have any budget for skydiving so trekking the mean streets of Sliperyville without even any YakTrax will just have to do. Word via Little Sister: the bus stop at RantMom's house is clear. We assume the transit center transfer point MIGHT have been shoveled. That leaves a sort of hairy walk across the street and uphill from the bus stop to Little Sister's. Did RantWoman NEED another opportunity to practice her faith????
RantWoman's kitchen is keeping her tastefully caloried.
RantWoman is still overflowing with good intentions about playing with some different software version fussiness. RantWoman has a weird idea of fun or is it necessity?
At the Rant Housing Complex, sunday's snow got rolled up into two slowly subsiding snowpeople surrounded by green green grass. The Green Green grass is again demurely covered with snow. Wednesday the snowpeople's domain drew a couple rounds of exuberant children clattering in noise and racket, frolicking on the hill..
Weather continues weathering.
