In case RantWoman has not been sufficiently clear, RantWoman is a GIANT AI skeptic. RantWoman blesses the video below for addressing Elon Musk and Grok in particular. The video is a literary delight, a rant fully worthy of RantWoman's endorsement.
RantWoman has also remained on X, or as RantWoman is prone to say when not reverting to Twitter, Elon's sandbox. Recently someone has been dumping AI related curricula from several major universities. Also, a whole slew of articles has appeared about fatal flaws in various AI models.
Theoretically, if RantWoman wanted to sound fully informed and use the jargon of the moment, she could read up. RantWoman is, though, going to take the chance that meaning can be generated with or without the most current jargon.
Basically, Elon's promise to rewrite the whole corpus of human knowledge sounds to RantWoman like hubris. RantWoman already once blurted out, in one of her X accounts, that Elon needs to STOP PEEING ON HIS BRAND. Perhaps if Elon would take the following commentary to heart and let the community of users do our thing, knowledge would get transformed without him needing to fall on his face tripping over his hubris.
With that as intro, please enjoy the following commentary.
"Elon is the biggest welfare queen in history."
"...addict...with a bunch of baby mamas...."

RantWoman posts this here as FYI for everyone she knows wanting more on-demand paratransit services.
Whatcom Riders decry changes to Paratransit Service
Aside from multiple other considerations, when RantWoman is thinking er dreaming about on dmemand transportation service, she has firmly in mind wheel chair or stroller accessibility as well as lots of other considerations.
RantWoman appreciates that Twitter in its current musk-fuddled state still brings her items like this even though RantWoman is also vexed questions of payment and services in quantities RantWoman can digest. In any case, this article comes with an ask and a promise of a small number of free articles. Make the most of them.
RantWoman will be ending her monthlong binge-blog. #NDEAM still matters. Arts and humanities, bullying, domestic violence... RantWoman cannot even remember the whole laundry list of awareness months.
RantWoman thinks it is a drag to round out #PedestrianSafetyMonth with yet another local car vs ped fatality.
RantWoman also thinks it's a drag that the annual hurrican flow is all the way to Hurricane Zeta. RantWoman wonders whether the hurricanes will stop just because hurricane season is now officially OVER.
RantWoman would also really appreciate some natural phenomena to distract from, say the surging coronavirus numbers especially in rural red states where hospitals will easily get overwhelmed.
So instead, let's consider THE BLUE MOON.
RantWoman has been looking high and low for images of tonight's blue moon, or at least as high and low as can be done at this early moment with a search engine.
RantWoman's quest has not yet found public domain images RantWoman can be certain are dated today.
Nor is RantWoman willing to take her wonky eyeballs to try to distinguish the full moon from all the other STUFF in the sky.
Instead RantWoman invites to use their own search engines--or their imaginations--to summon a big bright full moon

Warning: the post may skip around enough to make readers wonder whether RantWoman suffers from ADHD or in any case suffers enough to want to risk all the distressing drug side effects listed in the ads at the top of the page. For the record, the site has several self-tests. RantWoman did one and scored well below the threshold defining the condition on that particular test. In other words, RantWoman probably gets to manage occasional flakiness, need for a secretary, and "deadlines focus the mind" perspectives on procrastination on her own without the drugs advertised at the top of this page.
Digression due to judicial confirmation hearings and hyperventilating about whether or not a new Supreme Court Justice would for the third time in the history of the law again fail to completely overturn it. Yes, when one is dealing with a severely disruptive mental health condition, one's ability to work at all may depend on consistent access to health care coverage. But in America, especially in the gig economy, which comes first, the job or the health care coverage?
RantWoman keeps wondering based on medias streams about how badly the President's eldest son seems to fear people having health insurance. Maybe it's just RantWoman's wonky eyeballs: RantWoman foresees that if the Supreme court overturns the (VERY POPULAR) Affordable Care Act, the population could just go all in for #MedicareForAll.
Digression regarding accessibility #a11y #ux
--This site could really use a Skip to Main Content link at the top of everypage. On this site, that would be a tragic way to avoid having to read / scream one's screen reader over the entire site layout before hitting the content one came for. RantWoman does not recommend skipping this content entirely. RantWoman likes to know a little about what else is on a website even if she is not planning to interact with all the content immediately.
--RantWoman can navigate sufficiently smoothly that she would come back to the site, but RantWoman also might use her search engine to see what other resources there are too.
--RantWoman put Accessibility into the search bar. RantWoman was hoping to find some kind of 654 results turned up. RantWoman is not the most adroit screen reader user in the world, but RantWoman had trouble navigating the results counts and only absorbed details visually thanks to screen enlargement.RantWoman was hoping for something about the site's efforts to comply with some accessibility standard. RantWoman found 654 links about all kinds of things somehow related to ADHD.
There. Now that RantWoman has waded through critical digressions, now RantWoman would be able to concentrate on the content of the page.
Aren't accessibility tools grand?
If RantWoman wants to be taken seriously when commenting about transportation and broadband deployment and #digitalEquity, RantWoman probably could consider making some of her more piquant thought streams separate blogs. RantWoman could consider this, but sometimes candor invites candor from others.
A couple nights ago RantWoman did a brief Twitter protest world tour.
RantWoman did not get to Minsk / Belarus except indirectly via a tweet about an anti-logging protest in Bashkiria, 2000km from Minsk.
Protesters in Khabarovsk are chanting "Putin have some tea,".a reference to the poisoning of Alexander Navalny.
Protesters from Belarus are also being detained in Khabarovsk.
Near the Evrofei arena large pumps are being installed in case of flooding.
In Khabarovsk, it is 19 deg. C with relative humidity 94%
No protest photos in the top of the feed
Next we tune in to the #SeattleProtest hashtag and offer nightly commentary.
RantWoman is not even going to apologize for snark.
For instance considering the bravery of people in Minsk, RantWoman is underwhelmed by late night videos in Seattle.
RantWoman would definitely not mind if someone would articulate the point of the late-night public official stalking dance fests with police. If Seattle is going to flirt in national media with a reputation as a riot-riddled dystopian hellhole, someone should be able to offer some kind of coherent rationale for the circumstances earning the reputation. Someone? Anyone? Is there a media stream RantWoman is supposed to visit? Different hashtags?
Or if people really need to be out line-dancing maybe the event just needs better choreography. Maybe there needs to be a bicycle-cross segment where police and protesters vie for coolest tricks, most tricked out gear, and best example of just winging it.
And while we're at it, there is some serious fearmongering about in the land. Don Jr. always sounds like he is terrified of people having health insurance.
And RantWoman finds the "Dear Suburbs, they're coming after you" meme appalling. The story should be more like "Dear Real Estate speculators, people don't want to break up communities and have to move away from good transit to car-dependent suburbs with subpar transit options, so how about you get over your terror of in-city affordability?"
Neither of those threads exactly fits on buttons, bumper stickers or protest signs, but oh well.
RantWoman is of course tired of watching cops pepper spray protesters in the face but if cops are willing to do that on camera night after night, RantWoman finds herself thinking about what all they try to get away with when there are no cameras around.
RantWoman is not done.
For everyone who thinks open carry, concealed carry or armed law enforcement sounds like a good idea, RantWoman proposes that someone create an app that can geofence an entire area and render all weapons within that area more lethal than a squirt gun unable to fire. No RantWoman does NOT think that is too extreme. RantWoman agrees with Aaron Dixon: get the guns off the street. RantWoman also appreciates Dixon's acknowledgment that the Black Panthers used to open carry. The last time RantWoman was in St. Petersburg Russia, there were bank guards open-carrying large rifles too. This is not a trend RantWoman wants to see more of no matter who is carrying.
No geofenced firearms?
What about a review panel: seasoned protesters of various ages, ethnicities, hairstyles, protest lineages who rate performances, kind of like Chopt for the CHOP. Yeah, RantWoman knows the CHOP has been shut down. RantWoman just does not have a good term for any other example.
To qualify for the panel, applicants would have to submit at least one mugshot or protest media image.
There would be a qualifying interview where panelists would be asked to offer some protest-themed equivalent to Chopped commentary about "that oyster shell caramel was fascinating but the burnt edge of the cilantro cornbread on the same plate ruined the entire effect."
The panel could open meetings with ice-breakers such is "who is the biggest celebrity you have ever been arrested with?"
Or maybe "What is the most interesting prop you have ever used at a protest?"
Or maybe "Which protest had the biggest dollar value impact, positive or negative?"
This review panel would rate protests based on attributes like clarity of signage, number of intersections shut down, quality of choreography. Injuries to anyone would of course lose points. There could be nightly frequency tables of injuries due to "non-lethal" weapons and injuries to police officers. RantWoman would always be ready with a scoring tirade in honor of anyone who loses an eye whether because of being shot in the face or because someone threw a rock.
What? You think RantWoman has a weird idea of fun? Yep!.
Stay safe out there. PLEASE try to have some clearer messages. Get a good night's sleep. #BlackLivesMatter There will be plenty to do in daylight!...
