Snow time

There were snow flurries this morning. That is RantWoman walked from her buidling to her bus stop and did not detect snow. But at RantWoman's transfer point for the bus to Fremont, RantWoman did detect enough snow for the bus driver to have windshield wipers on. RantWoman's intended routing involved two buses that both travel frequently. RantWoman does not have info about the second bus snow issues. RantWoman also left the house before the appointment she was headed to called RantWoman's land line to cancel.

Appointment person did not want to drive on the snow. RantWoman understands reasons. RantWoman also would not have minded a call to her cellphone.

RantWoman coped.

RantWoman coped by shopping for gluten free dessert items to contribute to awedding celebration tomorrow. RantWoman expects many of the guests will appreciate RantWoman's taste: dried pineapple, some Theo's chocolate bars, and two flavors of sunflower seed bites. Life on the edge.

As an aside, RantWoamn also presents this tweet with awesome local snow  / cold frozen stuff vocabulary.

NWS Seattle (@NWSSeattle) tweeted at 3:04 PM on Fri, Mar 23, 2018:
Getting reports of small hail/graupel/snow grains/ice pellets around #Tacoma. #Thunderstorms possible this aftn as well. When thunder roars, go indoors! If caught in these storms during commute home, take it easy. Don't let fender-bender ruin your Friday. #WAwx

Vocabulary note: do not forget "thundersnow."
