The 48 returns and new flash footwear

The 48 has returned to all of 23^rd Ave S. Long live the 48.

 

Long live confusion about both the space and time part of the space time continuum.

 

Metro Alerts first said Wednesday. Then “later,” Then Today Tuesday.

 

RantWoman has gotten spoiled about having the 48 closer to her on MLK and especially to fewer street crossings between stops and home. RantWoman also needs the exercise involved in the slightly longer walk to Rainier. RantWoman will have to COPE.

 

RantWoman is still ambivalent about having to cope with the new crosswalk at Rainier and Hill. RantWoman, coming home, did what several other pedestrians did and diverted from the new crosswalk to the corner where the old crosswalk ended. RantWoman suspects that will become a trend even with a newly REMOVED curb ramp. Just collect data for now.

 

But RantWoman is delighted with another Urban Gear hack: RantWoman has long wanted flasher shoes like many small children have. Adults are not particularly supposed to have flasher shoes apparently, but RantWoman remains allergic to getting run over.

 

And one day, in the dog walk gear aisle where RantWoman buys cat litter, inspiration struck: RantWoman now has one of those cute dog walker lights on each shoe in two pairs. Talk about bright.
