For no particularly good reason, unencumbered by in-depth research, RantWoman's off-the-cuff assessment of some of the field of names mentioned as possible 2020 Vice Presidential candidates:

Elizabeth Warren: belongs in the cabinet, perhaps as Secretary of the Treasury, controller of the currency, head of Office of Management and Budget. Talents would be wasted as Vice President. Also a tad past RantWoman;'s preferred age threshold.

Michelle Obama: she does NOT want to be Veep. RESPECT THAT. Plus she would be great in the cabinet, perhaps at HUD, Department of Education, Department of Health and Human Services.

Kamala Harris: Attorney General, not Veep..

RantWoman knows that other names have been mentioned. Looking them up would mean research.

RantWoman has heard that Vice President Biden wants to name a woman of color to be his running mate. RantWoman as a white person may or may not have any standing to opine about this but she is going to do it anyway: Why do women of color gotta take all the heat? Sure, they are probably crucial to helping turn out needed votes.

BUT

Our man Joe has a grabby hands problem, and he needs a man on the ticket, preferably a man of color for the same reasons a woman of color would be good. RantWoman thinks many women have probably experienced  this. RantWoman also remembers an unfortunate clip of Mr. Biden patting a wheelchair user on eh head. RantWoman likes it a lot when men call out other men for this kind of behavior. But calling out other men for sexist behavior is not necessarily something one gets written up in the papers--or tghe social media--for, so RantWoman has no idea who to suggest!.
