Horror, Grief, Forgiveness?
King 5: Buster Brown's family speak
per WSDOT "The first crash here this year."
Unconditional forgiveness does not mean failing to hold accountable. I appreciate the prayer for the young man who reportedly caused the crash. I too pray that he finds a better path than he appears to be on. Driving is a serious responsibility and I hope this horrific crash is a wake-up call for everyone.
AND it matters for people to come together and work with local authorities, traffic engineers and others to improve what sounds like a dangerous situation for everyone. Honestly, sometimes lawyers and insurance companies can help get people's attention if other paths are not doing what is needed.
My heart goes out to all the families directly impacted here.
And now...Justice???
Here are various videos about the facts of the crash and the teen arrested for the carnage.
See, everyone close to the situation has to concentrate on healing and recovery. Some of the rest of us have plenty of cause for righteous fury.
Car data: teen was driving a 2015 Audi at112 mph, full throttle, when he T-boned the carpool vehicle.
Look, RantWoman is not a prosecutor and RantWoman is trying to CALM DOWN about the subject of bail. But since RantWoman is not calm, some pointed opinions.
Why did the prosecutor set ANY bond for someone charged with 4 counts of vehicular HOMICIDE and 2 additional counts of vehicular assault?
RantWoman is possibly prejudging an entire family AND making big assumptions about family wealth. That said, considering real estate prices around here, it might be easier than it sounds at first to come up with a $1 million bond. So RantWoman finds the thought of home detention and order not to drive both laughable and offensive, considering the carnage. If the driver who caused the crash has totaled 3 cars in less than a year due to speeding, why does anyone think he would comply with orders not to drive?.
There. RantWoman will resume her efforts to CALM DOWN and will send more waves of prayer in the direction of the families most directly impacted.
