Who says blind people don't cook?

RantWoman posts this item partly as a tribute to RantMom

RantMom had two half-blind children. RantMom has a degree in home economics. RantMom grew up on a farm where physical work was expected of everyone. RantMom taught all the Rant children to cook so well that both RantSiblings have worked as cooks. 

When the family midlife visual meltdown hit RantWoman, new cooking skills were not even on the horizon, although RantMom does get credit for forebearance when she stays seated across the room and watches Cooking While Blind at RantWoman's house.
