The Sunday Supper Report (from awhile ago)
RantWoman, RantMom, THE HEAT, not completely insufferable bus delays (Thank you #Pride2017 and Mariners. Do you think there is any chance rantWoman would walk in today's heat?) with salad, garlic toast, and icecream.
This week it was RantMom's turn to cook. See above.
Lately the RantWomen have been taking turns being responsible for the menu. Last week RantWoman brought salad greens and green pepper, small potatoes to bake, and fresh rhubarb to make rhubarb crisp. This turned out to be a great help. RantMom was craving salad but had not made it to the grocery store to supplement the tomatoes on her counter. RantWoman had a lot of her weekly bin of salad greens that she hoped to have eaten before they turned to green slime. RantWoman was happy to share some of her bag of small potatoes and there turned out to be enough fresh garden rhubarb both to leave RantMom leftover crisp for another couple meals and for RantWoman to take chopped rhubarb home to make crisp at her house.
But back to this week.
RantMom would like to spank the legislature. RantWoman agrees that THREE special sessions is excessive and regrets that she does not feel as well-informed as some years about issues still in play.
Recurring theme in the RantWomen's weekly chatter: exercise
RantMom's building has an Exercise room. It is down a long hall and behind the TV room with nothing else much nearby. RantMom does not feel safe there. RantWoman sees the problem.
RantMom also has options for Silver Sneakers but none of her go take a class options work with her schedule and getting around by bus. Sigh.
