Among recent technological misadventures.
OK Google, tell me how to solve ... annoying tech support issue in Windows 10.
RantWoman imagines Google: just use your Chromebook bucko!
Here, Chromie the ambiguously gendered Chromebook will pipe up: RantWoman what about file management and videos and all that stuff you COULD do if you would take time to learn and stop using me just for a glorified Twitter input device.
RantWoman to herself: yep, file management. Yep Twitter device. Yep iif JUST Twitter input, chromie the Chromebook is in fact paying for itself! And one of these days file management.
Oh Look, RantWoman, a cool video. Great young Man, The Beacon Hill Food Forest. Interest in Marketing and business. In college. Immigrant success story.
Sure. Click on the Link. Definitely cool. but some kind of technology hiccup. The first time through the screen reader did not find a photo caption and read the usual gibberish. The second time through, RantWoman found the Play button for the video. Terrific.
But RantWoman got interrupted and came back to the email on her phone.
On RantWoman's phone some other technological hiccup. The phone froze and a white screen stared at RantWoman for several minutes, so long that RantWoman finally just invoked her favorite crude but simple tech support measure: off switch therapy.
With RantWoman's phone duly rebooted and restored to reasonable function, RantWoman did finish the video.
RantWoman note to self: is RantMom ever going to work up enough courage to use Off Switch therapy when it really will help?
WHO KNOWS
But back to writing
Now days later, writing a blog post about training and connectivity, RantWoman would very much like to include the link to the video. First RantWoman has to find it again. Enough said?
