About the Event

Parenting Without Pity premieres at Seattle’s Town Hall tonight at 7:30 pm. Join our panel of disabled parents for an interactive discussion focused on the experience and knowledge of disabled parents. Our panelists will share insights into how we can create ties between disabled and non-disabled parents, discuss identity, and create a greater positive community of support and belonging for kids with disabilities.

Parenting without Pity stems from the Rooted in Rights twenty-episode podcast series, “Parenting without Pity,” which features some of the event’s panelists. These podcast episodes serve as an online resource for parents of disabled children, and can be accessed at www.rootedinrights.org/parents.
