Dear Adoring public. Scratch that. Dear Readers.
Welcome to October
Happy National Disability employment Awareness Month #NDEAM #NDEAM2022
Happy Domestic Violence Awareness Month.
Happy Blood Cancer Awareness Month.
Happy Breast Cancer Awareness Month
Happy It's the Middle of National Hispanic Heritage Month
RantWoman forgets what all one is supposed especially to be aware of in October. In Seattle it would also be really nice to observe Happy it's About Darn Time We Get Some Rain month but achieving that is way above rantWoman's pay grade.
In observance of all these occasions RantWoman will be attempting another #NDEAM daily binge blog.
Today we need to start with calendars. RantWoman buys two wall calendars that get little or nothing noted on them. RantWoman is in the middle of her second year of entrusting her entire calendar to online calendar plus email plus really strong gut feeling that RantWoman is supposed to have done something. This is not working. RantWoman needs to be able to envision her schedule without interrupting phone calls to look at her calendar. Somehow the act of writing something down with very visible fat pen frequently imprints the schedule item in a way that typing online calendar entries does not. Plus it's the start of the Fourth Quarter and things start popping up on the calendar for 2023 already.
RantWoman will be repeating her annual ritual:
One large Wall Calendar from LS&S
TWO Braille Art calendars from American Printing House for the Blind. Two because one for RantWoman and one for RantMom who lately has been curious about #Braille.
This year RantWoman has no idea which in-person retail options are open, is not motivated to call random stores and ask "Do you have any 2023 spiral bound planners with week views and horizontal fields for each date?" If you are wondering exactly what RantWoman is talking about, perhaps you can imagine how well a phone conversation might go.
RantWoman came more or less to that wording refining her query from 2023 Calendar to large 2023 spiral flexible cover planner. Boy were there a lot of unlabelled links and graphics on the way there. Heaven help anyone without enough vision to be able to tell, do the date fields run horizontally or vertically? Horizontally, PLEASE The picture below is NOT the calendar RantWoman settled on. Readers are invited to enjoy the visual exuberance anyway.
